If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange unworn or defective merchandise at any Famous Footwear store, or mail them with the original receipt, within 30 days of purchase.

Two Easy Ways to Return
1. To Make a Return at Any Store
Please bring…
- The item to be returned.
- The original receipt or the original packing receipt.
- One form of personal identification and the credit card used for the original purchase.

- Box up the item with all original packing.
- Enclose a completed return form. (Included with original packing slip)
- Ship your package to:

Refunds will be given in the original form of payment.
NOTE: For your protection, we suggest sending your return via insured parcel post or other traceable method. Shipping fees are not refundable and return shipping charges must be paid by customer. We cannot accept C.O.D. packages. Please allow 3 weeks for us to process your return. FamousFootwear.com is not responsible for returns until they are received in our warehouse.
STORE RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
We require and electronically capture customer information from a valid state or government photo ID (see below for the forms of IDENTIFICATION that we accept) for all returns/exchanges. We maintain a database of customer return activity created for the sole purpose of authorizing returns and exchanges. We do not share or sell the transaction information captured through this process.
We reserve the right to limit returns or exchanges regardless of receipt.
Returns with an Original Sales Receipt
In most cases, for returns or exchanges made with receipt within 30 days from the original purchase (unworn or defective merchandise), you may:
- Exchange the item(s) for the full purchase price.
- Receive a refund for the full purchase price in your original form of payment (cash/credit/debit card) or receive an in-store merchandise credit for the full purchase price.
Returns without an Original Sales Receipt
In most cases, for returns or exchanges without a receipt (unworn or defective merchandise), you may:
- Exchange the item(s) at the current selling price.
- Receive an in-store credit at the current selling price.
We accept the following FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION for returns and/or exchanges:
U.S. State Driver’s License, U.S. State ID, U.S. Military ID, Canadian Provincial Driver’s License, Canadian Provincial ID, Passport, U.S. Laser Visa, Mexican Voter Registration Card, Matricula Consular, Mexican Driver’s License, Japanese Driver’s License

I returned a pair of boots to you anticipating a refund to be credited to my credit card.
The receipt was in the box. Tracking the return of the boots I see that you received them on 1/22/07. Today is 2/24/07 and I still do not see that you have credited my credit card the purchase price of the boots and I am very concerned. Please contact me as soon as you can and let me know that you will be crediting my account. Thank you very much.
