Whether you make a purchase at Kohls.com or one of our stores nationwide, returns and exchanges are always easy at Kohl’s! To make your return or exchange experience the best it can be, we’ve adjusted our policy to exactly match the circumstances of the purchase.

Gift Purchases

Return/Exchange at a Store
For gifts purchased either in-store or online, just bring the item you’d like to return/exchange and your gift receipt to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store near you.

New Item Exchange
To exchange an item for a different item, please bring the item you’d like to exchange and your receipt to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store near you.
Exchange
To exchange an item for the same item in a different size or color, please bring the item you’d like to exchange and your receipt to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store near you.

Return by Mail
If your gift arrived by mail from Kohl’s, you can return it by mail. Just fill out the Return form that accompanied your purchase, and pack the merchandise and receipt into a sturdy box. Then, apply the supplied return label. (Please send all shipments prepaid.) We’re sorry, we are not able to accept returns by mail for gifts purchased in-store. If you purchased your gift(s) in-store, please return it to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store near you.

We understand that making returns by mail can sometimes be the most convenient for our customers. If you do choose to return any Kohl’s purchase by mail, please include the tags for all the items and remember that items should not have been worn or used.

Online Purchases

As a Kohls.com customer, you have three convenient options to return or exchange your online purchases.

Kohls.com purchases will be credited* to the account used to make the purchase, unless you indicate otherwise. If you’d like to receive a credit on a different credit card account, please complete the “Credit/Payment” method section of the Return & Exchange form that accompanied your order. Please note: To avoid return shipping & handling costs, please choose to return your Kohls.com purchase to a Kohl’s store near you.

*Please allow approximately 10 days for your credit to be applied to your credit card after the return/exchange has been processed at our fulfillment center. To avoid delays, simply bring your return(s)/exchange(s) to any Kohl’s store near you.

Our Easy Return & Exchange Policy means a convenient way to return or exchange an in-store purchase. Just bring the item you’d like to return or exchange to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store* near you, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Without a receipt you may be given*:
• An even exchange.
• A Kohl’s Merchandise Credit, good for the return value of the item. Offered at any Kohl’s.
• A credit to your Kohl’s Charge Card, if your items were purchased on your Kohl’s Charge.
• A corporate-issued refund.
