In-store Purchases

 

A Valid identification is required for non-receipted returns. Valid identification includes: driver’s license, state ID card, passport or military/ government ID.

Returns with original receipts

Unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase date for a full refund. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment unless a merchandise credit is requested. Merchandise credit receipts are not considered original receipts. Merchandise returned after 30 days will be refunded in the form of a merchandise credit usable on future H&M Store purchases. Purchases are refunded with the original form of payment. Purchases made with credit or debit cards will be refunded to the original card. Due to varying bank policies, please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear. Undergarment, Swimwear bottoms and Beauty products are Final Sale for hygienic reasons.

H&M RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCESSIVE RECEIPTED AND NON-RECEIPTED RETURNS.

Returns without a receipt

Unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise may be returned with a valid photo ID. Merchandise returned without a receipt will be refunded at the last activity/ sale price or the current selling price, whichever is lower, in the form of a merchandise credit usable on future H&M Store purchases.

Final Sale

Gift Card purchases and discounted final sale merchandise are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Returns to H&M Online

We are unable to accept returns of merchandise purchased at our H&M Stores to H&M Online.

 

 

 

 

Online Purchase

You have 30 days to decide if the item is right for you. H&M will refund any item(s), provided that the item(s) has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached. Cosmetics and underwear/swimwear bottoms are final sale for hygienic reasons.

How do I return an item?

The original Packing Slip must be enclosed with all returns or exchanges. We do not accept returns or exchanges without the original packing slip. Your package contains a Return and Exchange Form along with detailed instructions on how to return an item.

You can use our return label which is included in your package. The return shipping fee of $5.95 will be deducted from the credit of the returned merchandise. If you have lost the return form you can print a new one here or contact Customer Service TOLL-FREE at 855- HNM SHOP (855-466-7467). For a new return address label, please contact Customer Service.

If you do not wish to use the return label, we recommend that all returns be sent with a traceable carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to our warehouse. H&M is not responsible for packages sent with a return label not provided by H&M. H&M do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Refunds for online purchases

Your refund will in most cases be issued to the same credit card you used for the original purchase. You will be credited for the cost of the item(s) and applicable taxes, less the pre-paid return fee. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable.

Please allow two weeks for the processing of returns. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Exchanging items in the online store

Fill out the Return and Exchange form and indicate the item(s) that you would like to exchange. Pack your exchange securely in the original package and attach the return label. Read the delivery note that comes with your package for more information.
We do not accept exchanges after 30 days of the original purchase.

Returns or exchanges to H&M stores

We are unable to accept returns of merchandise purchased online at our H&M Stores.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order any time before the order is processed. Once the order is shipped, you will receive, via email, a shipping confirmation that contains tracking information. Once a product is shipped, the Return and Exchange Policy will apply.

H&M may cancel orders for any reason. Some common situations in which orders are cancelled may include: The item is out of stock and there are no plans of restocking it, pricing errors or credit card payment is declined by the issuing financial institution.
